Refuse to lose & Stay in school Annual Event
In 2013 Founder and CEO, Patrick D. Young contacted The Salvation Army Center of HOPE to inspire the young people to Refuse to Lose! As an entrepreneur with a funnel cake brand, his offering was to set up his funnel cake company and serve the tasty pastry to neighbors who may not have the means to enjoy it. At the same time, he intended to give the children a inside look at how he turned his dream of making funnel cakes into a local brand. What started as a complimentary funnel cake giveaway, has turned into a FUN day of HOPE and pep rally to encourage the homeless kids to stay in school. Along with sponsons and community volunteers, Funoh Brands Inc has provided over 1500 kids with an experience of fun games, school supplies, speakers, full lunch catered by Smoke & Go BBQ, and course some funnel cakes!
